USCGC Bittersweet (WLB-389)

The CGC Bittersweet was commissioned in 1945 as a Seagoing Buoy Tender. These ships maintain buoys and other navigational aids in coastal waters. The Bittersweet was 180 feet long, had a crew of 53 and was decommissioned in 1997.
