USCGC Cook Inlet (WHEC-384)

The USCGC Cook Inlet was a 311 foot High Endurace Cutter that saw action in World War II and received a Battle Star. The cutter was placed into commission with the Navy as the USS Cook Inlet and transfered to the Coast Guard in 1948. The cutter was decommissioned in 1971, with Portland, ME being the last home port.
