USCGC Key Largo (WPB-1324)

The USCGC Key Largo is a 110 foot patrol boat suited mainly for Search & Rescue and law enforcement. The class was constructed in 3 batches, with various modifications and improvement made with each batch. The Key Largo was constructed with the 2nd batch and was placed into commission in 1988. The Key Largo has a crew of 18, a maximum speed of 30 knots, and although intended for 10-14 day patrols, they have been making patrols for as long as 60 days. The Key Largo is home ported in Savannah, GA. The patch depicts the cutter on top of a cuttermans insignia. The symbols represent fisheries enforcement, drug enforcement, and Search & Rescue.
