As the name would imply, this patch was made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of polar exploration. Depicted on the patch are 2 helicopters, 1 HH-65 Dolphin, and an HH-3 Pelican, which is no longer used by the CG. The Icebreaker in the middle is dual lettered for the Polar Sea and the Polar Star, which are identical Ice Breakers.
