PICTORIAL WALKTHROUGH
This section has over 70 photographs that were taken by me in a recent trip to the USS Salem, which is moored in Quincy, Mass. These pictures give you a look at the inside and outside of a Des Moines class heavy cruiser. If you live in the Massachusetts area or are going to visit, I would highly recommend a visit to this ship, it is most interesting and educational. A special thanks to Jim Fahey and the members of the USS Salem for their hospitality and assistance during my visit to the ship. Of course, a thanks to my Dad for being my personal tour guide. Having served on board the USS Des Moines, he was very helpfull.
