As the name would imply, Air Stations are the home bases for the Coast Guard's aircraft. Helicopters are deployed to cutters from the stations for patrols. This patch is for Air Station Elizabeth City, North Carolina and shows Bugs Bunny with a life raft, life jacket, and life preserver in front of a pair of Coast Guard airman's wings. An HC-130 is flying above his head and an HH-60 is flying below him.
