MSO Boston, MA

MSO's are Marine Safety Offices. These are land units that are in charge of boat licences, boat pilot training, and boat safety. They also are involved with environmental issues, such as oil spills. The patch shows an LNG tanker coming into Boston with the Old North Church sending out 2 light signals, which represents Paul Revere signaling that the British were coming by sea. An outline of Eastern Massachusetts is also on the patch.
